Cars in Germany's City Discovered Smeared with Nazi Symbols in Blood, Police State

Authorities stated they were alerted by a man who found a car in Hanau marked with red-colored fluid

Approximately fifty cars have been marked with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Vehicles, exterior walls and mailboxes were marked, sometimes with Nazi symbols, they reported in a official communication.

Law enforcement state they were notified during the night on Wednesday, when a individual observed that a vehicle in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish-hued fluid.

The substance had been applied in the shape of a swastika, they reported.

Police then located numerous other smeared automobiles and house walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations banning the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Law enforcement report preliminary tests show the substance was most likely human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no indication as to its source; investigators are currently not informed of any physical harm in association with the event," they commented.

Local authorities said they were trying "to solve the case" and have asked to the public for information.

A high-ranking representative said the attack made him speechless and required to be addressed promptly.

"This incident strikes at the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the extremist violent incident half a decade ago," he wrote on social media, recalling the murder of nine people by a shooter aiming at people of migrant background in 2020.
