I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
